What are the benefits?

FDN can alleviate muscular dysfunction by quieting muscle spasms, restoring proper muscle function and improving ease of movement.

Is it acupuncture?

The only similarity between FDN and traditional acupuncture is that both techniques use the needle as a tool.  The two treatments vary in theory, training, assessment and practical application.

What can be treated with FDN?

Both acute and chronic pain can often be successfully resolved with FDN including recent muscle strains, low back pain, neck pain, tension headaches, shin splints, hip pain, and many other orthopedic conditions.

We expect positive results in just a few treatment sessions.

Patients may experience some immediate soreness followed by a significant decrease in muscular tightness and nagging pain.  FDN is one tool your physical therapist may choose to use as part of your larger treatment plan.

Thank you for putting your trust in us.
