Darcy grew up in the "Granite State" of New Hampshire and moved to Missoula in 1992 for college.  Practicing outpatient orthopedics since graduating from PT school in 2002, Darcy decided to found Granite Sports Medicine in 2012. Her driver to start a practice was to provide a progressive, efficient environment to heal while at the same time offering her coworkers a great place to work. She and her husband Randy purchased the old car wash on Livingston's Main Street and Randy converted it into the airy and inviting hub of healing the clinic is now.  An avid skier herself, she travelled as a team physical therapist with the U.S. Snowboarding Team from 2006-2016 – from China to New Zealand – truly an incredible chapter of life.

In 2011, Darcy completed the Canine Rehabilitation Therapist Certification in order to transfer her therapy skills to our canine friends.  Check out Black Dog Rehab to see how much it benefits our furry buddies!  Darcy and Randy adopted Gunnar from Stafford Animal Shelter in 2015 and Adobe from Esponola Humane in 2021.

Darcy loves to get out of cell service as often as possible floating wilderness rivers and getting deep into the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness.  In the winter months, you'll find her skiing powder at Bridger Bowl or cross country skiing with the dogs.
